About Me

I live in Memphis, Tennessee, right next to the river, which thankfully did not flood my house. When I’m not packing my emergency evacuation bag, I am a contributing editor at the Quarterly Conversation. I have also published stories and essays in a handful of print and online publications. My first collection of stories, The Portable Son, was published in November by Aqueous Books. In October, I published an ebook of literary criticism with Scott Esposito called Lady Chatterley’s Brother.
