Thanks so much for your message. It made my day. And it&#039;s crazy that you posted this because the story collection that contains &quot;High Cotton&quot; just got picked up for publication by Aqueous Books. The book, which is called The Portable Son, will come out most likely in the fall of 2011. And it&#039;s one of those linked collections, so the book follows that same character, Peter, from that moment in &quot;High Cotton&quot; through the rest of high school and his 20s, basically. 

If you want, I&#039;ll shoot you an email when the book comes out.
